    LIVE Virtual Campus Visits

    Like a campus tour, but conducted online! Hosted by one of our engaging student ambassadors, this 45-minute live presentation will help you get a feel for the campus and student life at DKU as an international student. You will be encouraged to ask questions and interact with other attendees. The student ambassador will share their perspectives and experiences using visual aids and anecdotes, giving you the opportunity to:

    • See and hear about our amazing facilities on campus
    • Learn about life as a student at DKU
    • Learn about what our students do outside of campus, including their travels around China and beyond

    LIVE Virtual Information Sessions

    Would you like to learn details about the undergraduate program's unique curriculum? Wondering about admissions requirements and financial aid? Hosted by a DKU admissions officer, these live info sessions will help you gain in-depth insight into: 

    • Our unique academic model
    • The connection to Duke University
    • Our interdisciplinary majors
    • Costs and financial aid
    • How to apply

    LIVE Application Advice from our Director: What We Look for in Great Applications

    Outstanding applicants to Duke Kunshan University demonstrate several key qualities that we look for, and reflect a deep understanding of our unique culture and learning community. In this session, Director of International Student Enrollment, Russell Davis, will share his perspective on what those qualities are, and provide guidance on how to put together your strongest Duke Kunshan application. The session will be interactive, so bring your questions on topics related to:

    • How to write your Duke Kunshan University-specific essay?
    • When should you use the supplemental essay, and why?
    • What are those qualities most valued by the Admissions Committee and why?
    • How do you weave the qualitative elements of the Common Application together to tell your most compelling story?
    • Gain insight into Duke Kunshan’s Financial Aid policy and process, covering both merit-based scholarships and need-based aid.

    LIVE What to Study Series: Discover our 3 Academic Divisions 


    As a liberal arts and sciences university, DKU offers a range of opportunities for students to explore their interests before deciding on a major in their second year. To help you get familiar with our majors, we’ve put together a series of three info-sessions led by Faculty leaders in their respective divisions. Each session will provide an overview of DKU’s major offerings and research opportunities in the specific area of study, while also featuring a panel of current students that will share their firsthand experiences with majors in each division, their career aspirations upon graduating, and more!

    1. What to Study: Social Sciences Majors 

    Join Professor Keping Wu, Division Chair of Social Sciences and Associate Professor of Anthropology, for a session focusing on Social Sciences Majors. 

    Date: October 15th, 2021, at 9-10 am ET.

    2. What to Study: Arts and Humanities Majors.

    Join Professor Kolleen Guy, Division Chair of Arts & Humanities and Associate Professor of History, for a session focusing on majors in the Arts & Humanities.

    Date: October 22nd, 2021, at 9-10 am ET.

    3. What to Study: Natural and Applied Sciences Majors 

    Join Professor Kai Huang, Division Chair of Natural and Applied Sciences and Associate Professor of Physics, for a session focusing on majors in the Natural Sciences.   

    Date: November 5th, 2021, at 9-10 am ET.
