Deciding to study in China is a decision for the whole family! In this panel, a group of DKU parents from around the world plan to share their experiences with admitted families. From parents of graduates, to parents of our newest classes, hear their unique perspectives on their DKU journey and China as a study destination. Participants will be encourages to submit questions to the panel before and through the presentation.

Our campus is packed with cool facilities, sports teams of all sorts, wellness workshops, and plenty of fun activities to keep you moving. In this session, we’re showing you all the ways you can amp up your fitness game, meet some goals, or even rep DKU in a match or two.

In this session, learn about securing internships in/out of China, eligibility for employment in China and the US after graduation, on-campus student employment and paid research assistant positions. You will also learn about career support for our students when they are studying abroad at Duke. Knowing students will have specific interests, students will be welcome to actively engage and ask questions.

In this session, we will explore the incredible resources that DKU offers to international students, including those related to navigating the process of coming to China, residence life, physical and mental health, and international student services. Being located in China, DKU offers international students the perfect opportunity to study Chinese while pursuing their undergraduate studies. This session will explore the language learning resources available to students, and will then break out into a Chinese language sample class. Don’t know any Chinese? No worries, you’ll be placed in a beginner session. Already speak Chinese? Great! You can join the intermediate/advanced group and test your skills!

Join us for this virtual session where DKU senior students share their experiences and advice as they prepare for graduation. They’ll discuss how they explored and chose their majors, their Signature Work research projects, and the extracurricular activities that shaped their college journey. You’ll also hear about their career plans and how DKU has prepared them for the next step. Plus, they’ll offer tips on making the most of your time at DKU.
